Church Studio stores your sign-in email, account identifier, church name, place, plan and access status, saved songs, stream session records, and encrypted platform connection credentials to operate your account and livestream controls. Church profile details can reveal religious affiliation and a manually entered church location. Apple sign-in stores a provider identifier and encrypted refresh token for account access and revocation. Legacy password accounts use password hashes.
Camera, microphone and selected images are used for previews and broadcasts. Your phone sends broadcast video and audio directly to the destinations you configure. Church Studio does not record your sermon audio or video on its server. Apple, Google, Meta and other destination providers process your sign-in and broadcasts under their own policies. Destination platforms may retain broadcast recordings. HTTPS protects Church Studio backend requests; plain RTMP destinations do not encrypt the broadcast transport. Use RTMPS when your destination supports it. This release does not offer AI listening.
Images selected through the system photo or file picker are processed on your phone. Songs you choose to share are reviewed before becoming available to other churches and include your church name. Shared songs can be removed by deleting your account; contact support for other removal requests.
Account, subscription and Bible library requests contact the Church Studio server. Platform tokens and saved stream keys are encrypted at rest. We do not sell your personal data or use it for advertising. Server infrastructure may keep operational and security logs.
You can delete your account from the app: Account settings → Delete my account. This removes your account, profile, subscriptions, saved songs, channel keys, platform tokens and stream history from the active database. End any active livestream first. Copies already broadcast or downloaded by others remain subject to those recipients’ policies. Backup copies remain subject to the service operator’s backup retention; contact support about retention.
